About
Founded in 2021, Champssolairesnuceriens is a co-op headquartered in Noyers-sur-Serein, France specializing in Solar.
An association of twelve farmers in the Nucérien sector undertaking a pioneering agrivoltaic project to address agricultural and energy transitions. The project integrates photovoltaic panels with agricultural production on low-yield parcels, maintaining agricultural viability while generating renewable electricity. Steel pile technology is used for panel installation without concrete, enabling easy decommissioning and minimal soil pollution. Planned agricultural diversification includes reintroduction of sheep farming, poultry production, truffle cultivation, beekeeping, and aromatic plants. The project received building permit approval in July 2024 for the Grimault/Villiers-la-Grange site following extensive public consultation and environmental impact studies.
