Founded in 1924, Comitetul National Roman al Consiliului Mondial al Energiei is a ngo headquartered in București, Romania specializing in Solar, Wind, Hydro.

The Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME) is part of the World Energy Council, the largest global organization in the energy sector with member committees in nearly 100 countries. The committee's mission is to promote sustainable energy supply and utilization for the benefit of all. CNR-CME operates Future Energy Leaders Romania, a youth professional network dedicated to professional development in the energy sector, competency building for the fourth industrial revolution, and accelerating the transition to a clean energy economy. The organization organizes conferences, seminars, and events addressing renewable energy, energy storage, energy transition management, and modern power systems technologies.
