When optimized, the wind farm is expected to have a capacity of up to 1000MW, delivering sufficient electricity to meet the needs of over 850,000 households and offsetting over 1.5 million tonnes of harmful carbon emissions annually. The proposed array area is approximately 430 square kilometres, with surveyed water depths averaging 90 metres, suitable for floating turbine technology. The project includes ongoing bird and marine mammal surveys, community benefit funding, and commitment to stakeholder engagement throughout development phases.
