Decagone (Demonstrator of industrial CArbon-free power Generation from Orc-based waste-heat-to-Energy-systems) is a European research and innovation initiative funded under the Horizon Europe programme (grant agreement No 101069740). The project focuses on advancing Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology to enable efficient conversion of industrial waste heat into carbon-free electricity. Activities include general assembly meetings, lab tours at partner institutions including Technical University of Munich, Université de Liège, and SINTEF Energy Research, webinars on ORC key-innovations, and research dissemination.
