Founded in 2023, DigiWind is a ngo specializing in Wind.
DigiWind is a pioneering EU-co-funded project within the Digital Europe Programme aimed at supporting Europe's digital and green transformation. The initiative brings together five world-leading higher education institutions (DTU, NTNU, TU Delft, Gdańsk University of Technology, and Technological University Shannon), two SMEs specializing in digital technologies and renewable energy, and a large enterprise in digital skills education. DigiWind develops interdisciplinary Specialised Education Programmes to future-proof careers of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math professionals in wind and energy systems. The project delivers advanced digital skills training in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies through three learning pathways: Master of Science degrees, self-paced online masters programs, and lifelong learning modules. Open calls provide scholarships and fee waivers to address skills gaps in the renewable energy sector.
