e-CER ETS is a Renewable Energy Community (CER) operating across Italy, founded to promote local renewable energy production and sharing. The organization facilitates energy exchange between producers (those with solar installations) and consumers within a community network. Members benefit from a guaranteed premium tariff for 20 years, government subsidies, and reduced electricity costs through shared energy consumption. The platform supports multiple participant roles: Producers install and share solar energy, Prosumers consume and produce, and Consumers benefit from shared renewable energy without installation. e-CER operates as a cooperative association (APS), officially registered with the Italian registry (R.U.N.S.) as of July 31, 2025. Technical partners include Energia Italia S.p.A. and SST S.r.l.
