Eccsel is a ngo headquartered in Trondheim, Norway specializing in Biomass, Hydrogen, Geothermal.

Eccsel ERIC is a European research infrastructure established by the European Commission in 2017, operating on a non-economic, non-profit basis. It connects over 150 state-of-the-art research facilities across 7 European countries, providing scientists and industry with physical infrastructure to advance climate solutions. The organization supports the full CCUS and CDR value chain, from carbon capture (direct air capture, industrial sources, biogas) through transport and storage to utilization (e-fuels, chemicals, construction materials). Eccsel offers open access to facilities, training and education services, and support for applied research and development projects advancing technology readiness levels (TRL) from 4 to 7 and beyond. The organization also coordinates European development of research infrastructure and works with industry and academia to identify deployment needs.
