Founded in 2021, Ecohoogenlaag is a co-op headquartered in Berg en Dal, Netherlands specializing in Solar.

Ecohoogenlaag is a cooperative energy organization that installs solar panels on large roofs belonging to third parties, enabling residents in designated postal code areas to participate in local renewable energy generation. Members invest by purchasing Zondelen (share units) and receive annual returns from electricity production. The cooperative has completed two projects: 84 panels on De Kleine Dame in Ubbergen (operational since July 2022) and 155 panels on Buitengast in Persingen (operational since November 2023). The organization received subsidy approval under the Subsidieregeling Coöperatieve Energieopwekking (formerly postcode rose scheme) and Provincia Gelderland co-financing. Membership costs €10 one-time fee. The cooperative aims to recover investment within 7-10 years while supporting local sustainability.
