Founded in 2013, EGIS eG is a co-op headquartered in Neuötting, Germany with approximately 50-200 employees specializing in Solar, Wind, Biomass.

EGIS eG (EnergieGenossenschaft Inn-Salzach eG) is a cooperative energy organization established in 2013 by 156 founding members and now represents over 3,200 members. The cooperative develops and operates renewable energy projects including photovoltaic systems, district heating networks, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and wind energy. Notable projects include citizen solar parks in Bundorf and Kraiburg, district heating networks in Amerang and Bundorf supplied by solar electricity and biomass, and solar installations across Germany. The cooperative provides member returns through dividends based on renewable energy generation and operates under cooperative principles emphasizing regional value creation, citizen participation, and climate protection. EGIS operates through a management structure headed by CEO Pascal Lang and has received multiple awards for innovation and fair business practices.
