Projects
4ELCO I
New solid oxide cell and stack production facility on the outskirts of Tallinn, opened in 2025, scaling from pilot to mass manufacturing. Project runs 05/2024 to 05/2031 with a total budget of EUR 113 million and EUR 24.9 million EU funding.
SYRIUS
Integration of a 4.2 MWel solid oxide electrolysis system in an electric arc furnace steel plant to produce green hydrogen and reduce CO2 emissions from steel reheating. Elcogen supplies the stacks. Duration January 2025 to June 2029.
BalticSeaH2
Establishment of an interregional hydrogen valley linking Finland, Estonia and neighbouring countries, covering hydrogen production, storage, distribution and use. Elcogen supplies electrolysis stacks and testing capabilities.
OUTFOX
Project to optimise cell and system designs for industrial-scale SOEL green hydrogen production at lower hydrogen cost. Elcogen supplies large-area cells and stacks; first stacks delivered for an 80-kW system. Duration February 2023 to January 2027.
