About
Founded in 2024, ELECTROLIFE is a ngo specializing in Hydrogen.
ELECTROLIFE is a 60-month Joint Clean Hydrogen Partnership project (January 2024 – December 2028) co-funded by the European Commission under Horizon Europe. The project aims to advance electrolyzer technologies by understanding degradation mechanisms, improving cell performance, reducing critical material usage, and extending system lifetime. Research covers all five classified electrolysis technologies through multidisciplinary testing, multiphysics simulations, prototyping, and dedicated test bench development. Key objectives include identifying degradation mechanisms, developing lifetime prediction models, harmonizing testing protocols, and validating improved durability across technologies. The consortium combines diverse expertise and shared infrastructure to generate results for scientific and industrial communities.
