Since 1993, the company has contributed to shaping the Greek Energy Grid through collaborations with major energy production companies. Their engineering expertise spans all spectrum of renewables including wind, hydro, solar, biomass, and energy storage. The company provides comprehensive services including engineering design, procurement, and construction management. Key capabilities include EPC construction of substations, underground and overhead power cables, and operation & maintenance of mechanical installations. Electromec has undertaken significant projects such as the Cyclades Interconnection Phase 2 (Naxos GIS Substation), 10 small wind turbine farms, and subsea cable interconnections. Subsidiary GEMEC operates in the UK solar market with over 65MW of installed turnkey capacity and O&M contracts for 150MW+ plants.
