Elektroinštitut Milan Vidmar is the leading Slovenian engineering and scientific research organisation in electric power engineering established in 1948. The institute addresses electricity generation, transmission, and distribution from economic and technological perspectives. It prepares feasibility and implementation studies, expert reports, conducts technological and environmental analyses, and inspects electric power systems and facilities for utilities and government authorities. The organisation implements R&D projects at EU and regional levels, from concept development to realisation.
