About

Energieallee A7 is a renewable energy company specializing in Wind, Solar, Biomass.

The Energieallee A7 project initiative aims to realize Dr. Hermann Scheer's concept of installing wind turbines along Germany's longest motorway (A7) from north to south. The project envisions 1,251 wind turbines of 5 MW class at identified locations, generating a total installed capacity of 6,255 MW. Annual electricity generation would reach approximately 13,500 GWh, covering 2.2% of German gross electricity consumption and supplying 3.7 million households. The project would avoid 11.6 million tonnes of CO2 annually. Additional renewable energy sources such as solar and biomass are planned for integration. The initiative operates as an online information and networking platform coordinating concepts, actors, and initiatives to advance this landmark decentralized renewable energy project. Investment volume estimated at 7.5 billion euros.
