Founded in 2008, Energiek Schiedam is a co-op headquartered in Schiedam, Netherlands specializing in Solar, Wind.

Energiek Schiedam is a resident-led energy cooperative of and for Schiedammers with a commitment to sustainability. The organization develops projects to generate renewable energy locally and helps residents and businesses make sustainable choices. As a cooperative, members collectively own the organization and make decisions through general member assemblies. The cooperative offers tailored energy advice, supports installations of solar panels on residential buildings, public facilities, and businesses, and provides energy coaching. Energiek Schiedam operates as part of a broader network of over 600 energy cooperatives in the Netherlands and participates in regional networks including om nieuwe energie and ECRR. The organization has completed solar installations including 166 panels on wijkcentrum De Erker and 207 panels on het Wennekerpand. Current projects include a wind turbine initiative at Vijfsluizen and large-scale solar developments on school roofs and public infrastructure.
