Énergies Solidaires is a French association (loi 1901) dedicated to combating climate change and energy poverty through energy efficiency education and renewable energy promotion. Originally focused on development projects in Burkina Faso from 1998-2002, the organization expanded to serve northern Yvelines starting in 2002. It operates as part of the ADEME-created France Rénov network, providing free and independent energy advice to individuals, municipalities, and businesses. The association employs 23 staff members, with 19 field advisors delivering on-the-ground services. The organization also manages an eco-construction materials library and runs programs addressing energy poverty and over-indebtedness. Governed by a 12-member administrative board comprising six civil figures from energy, urban planning, and construction sectors, plus six elected representatives from the service territory.
