Energyrace is a collaborative project developed by Fawaka Ondernemersschool and Race Against Waste that combines climate and environmental education with practical action. Children learn about energy consumption and efficiency, then conduct local campaigns to implement energy-saving measures in their communities. The initiative addresses multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals: quality education, affordable clean energy, and climate action. Since its pilot launch in September 2022, the program has organized six races across different regions, engaging 55 teams that collectively implemented approximately 1,600 conservation measures, distributed 140 energy boxes, and completed 1,000 neighborhood initiatives.
