The program runs twice yearly for 10 weeks, selecting up to 10 companies per cohort. It provides mentorship from energy experts, serial entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists; workshops on business growth, product development, commercialization, and financing; direct access to corporate partners including Wärtsilä, Danfoss, and Vaasan Sähkö; and potential investment opportunities. The program is fee-free and does not take equity from participating startups, though Energyspin can invest at a 25% discount within one year if agreed. The accelerator targets early-stage companies solving real problems in energy, including renewables, digitalization, IoT, cybersecurity, smart grids, and power optimization.
