EUDP (Det Energiteknologiske Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram / The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme) is a Danish government-funded initiative established in 2007 that provides grants for development and demonstration of new green energy technologies. The programme supports projects that contribute to Denmark's climate targets of 70% CO2 reduction by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2045. Since its establishment, EUDP has funded over 1,300 innovative projects with a total of 7 billion DKK. The programme is technology-neutral and evaluates applications based on innovation level, climate policy alignment, and commercialization potential. Eligible applicants include public and private companies, universities, GTS institutes, and municipalities with Danish CVR registration. EUDP also manages Green Labs DK, which supports establishment of demonstration facilities for large-scale testing of climate technologies.
