Exilion, established in 2005, is a Finnish investment and asset management company owned by institutional investors (Elo, the State Pension Fund of Finland, and Veritas). The company manages approximately EUR 1.2 billion in assets through four limited partnership entities. Exilion operates in two primary sectors: real estate and renewable energy. In real estate, the company owns prominent commercial, office, business, and hotel properties in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, and manages Shopping Centre Hansa, the largest shopping centre in Southwest Finland (Turku). In renewable energy, Exilion Tuuli invests in wind farms and solar power plants across Finland. Major projects include a 70 MW ground-mounted solar power plant in Simo (commenced commercial operation November 2024) and multiple wind farms with a combined capacity of 480 MW. The company has achieved carbon neutrality in energy use across its real estate operations since April 2022. Recent investments include a 30 MW/66 MWh energy storage facility in Mäntyharjä scheduled for completion in 2026.
