Founded in 2023, Flex2Energy is a renewable energy company headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece specializing in Solar.
Flex2Energy is an ambitious research and innovation project funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe program (Grant Agreement No 101096803). The project focuses on developing an automated R2R (roll-to-roll) manufacturing line for producing Integrated Photovoltaics (IPVs) based on Organic Printed Photovoltaic (OPV) technology. The IPV products are designed for custom applications in buildings, greenhouses for energy production and crop harvesting, and automotive EV car roofs, with emphasis on minimizing landscape impact and enabling energy-positive buildings. The project represents Greece's position at the forefront of third-generation photovoltaic technology development, with a manufacturing hub based in Thessaloniki.
