Future Energy Technologies develops and supplies patented thermally activated energy sheet piles (Energie-Spundwände) that use steel sheet pile structures as geothermal heat exchangers. The systems extract heat and cooling from surface geothermal sources, including water bodies and soil, for heating and cooling buildings and district networks (cold local heating networks). The company also offers retrofit sets, sheet pile systems, excavation solutions, and thermally activated components for HVDC cable trench construction. Retrofit sets are produced in Germany and sheet pile elements at a certified plant in Almere, Netherlands.
