Geothermal Canada is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing science and promoting geothermal research and development in Canada. Reestablished in 2018 as the Pan Canadian Society for Geothermal Research, Innovation, & Collaboration, it evolved from the original Canadian Geothermal Association founded in 1974. The organization brings together professional geologists, geoscientists, geophysicists, professors, students, and geothermal enthusiasts to foster collaborative research, stimulate technology transfer, and disseminate innovation throughout the geothermal community. Geothermal Canada is hosting the World Geothermal Congress in Calgary, Alberta in June 2026 and provides educational resources including over 30 recorded webinars to members.
