Founded in 1993, GETEC GROUP is a holding company headquartered in Hannover, Germany with approximately 1001-5000 employees specializing in Solar, Wind, Hydrogen.

GETEC GROUP is a German energy services group comprising roughly 50 companies, led by GETEC Energie Holding GmbH. Its activities include energy supply and trading for commercial and industrial customers, area networks and metering, energy contracting, and the development and expansion of renewable energy solutions such as PPAs, solar, wind, biomethane, green hydrogen and battery storage. In 2023 the group employed about 1,100 people and reported turnover of 3.77 billion euros. GETEC ENERGIE was sold to bp, with the transaction completed in July 2024.
