Founded in 2009, Greencluster is a co-op headquartered in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania specializing in Biomass.

Green Energy Innovative Biomass Cluster is a social economy organization established to promote biomass as Romania's most important renewable energy source. The cluster brings together stakeholders across the entire biomass supply chain—from harvesting and collection through pre-treatment, upgrading, storage, transportation, and handling. It facilitates integrated solutions with emphasis on ecological and social innovations. The cluster supports member development through value chain advancement, integrated system production, joint market presence, collaborative R&D initiatives, and professional training. Key activities include fostering inter-member exchange, strategy development, event organization, B2B collaboration facilitation, innovation stimulation, financing support, and international cooperation. The organization is actively involved in EU-funded projects advancing community-scale biomass energy throughout Romania and Eastern Europe, promoting the 'One Village 1 MW' concept.
