GreenLab is a mission-driven research facility and green industrial park located in Skive, Denmark. It operates as a unique public-private partnership designed to accelerate the green transition of industry through large-scale testing of new renewable energy technologies, direct connection of industrial production to renewable energy sources, and interdisciplinary research projects. The facility integrates multiple energy sectors through its SymbiosisNet intelligent grid, allowing companies to share surplus energy and resources including heat, syngas, and biomass. GreenLab hosts an 84 MW wind and solar park, a 100 MW Power-to-X (hydrogen) project called GreenHyScale, a 12 MW Power-to-X methanol facility, battery energy storage systems, and serves as a regulatory test zone for emerging green technologies. The park also operates the GreenLab Academy for workforce development and conducts mission-driven research with Danish universities and international partners.
