Founded in 2021, Groenewieken is a co-op headquartered in Elim, Netherlands with approximately 1-10 employees specializing in Solar.

De Groene Wieken is an energy cooperative established in August 2021 serving three villages (Elim, Hollandscheveld, Nieuwlande) in Hoogeveen municipality, Drenthe province. The cooperative aims to stimulate use of sustainable, locally-generated energy through community participation and ownership. Key activities include development and operation of solar parks, energy efficiency consulting through an energy coach program, and community engagement initiatives. The cooperative has completed Zonnepark Nieuwlande, a solar park with approximately 500 panels, financed partly by community members. Members participate in decision-making and share benefits from renewable energy generation. The organization collaborates with local energy cooperatives, provincial authorities, municipalities, and Rijkswaterstaat on initiatives including the A37 Solar Route project.
