GVZ Components, founded in 1978 by Guido Gariboldi, is a leading European distributor and manufacturer of high-quality sensors and components. The company began distributing glass bottle motor protectors and expanded into industrial gas sensors through partnerships with Figaro Engineering (1988) and FIS Inc. (1992). As a trusted partner of Sensata Technologies, GVZ distributes products from brands including Klixon, Airpax, Kavlico, Gigavac, Bei Sensor, and others across industrial, automotive, HVAC, and hydrogen markets. Since 2006, following Sensata's formation, GVZ expanded its portfolio significantly. In 2016, it became the global distributor for Sensata's Alternative Fuel Market portfolio across EMEA and key global accounts. Recognizing electrification trends, GVZ expanded to supply EV components including BMS, voltage/current sensors, isolation modules, and thermal runaway sensors. Since 2023, the company has become a manufacturer in its own right, producing the MLD series of gas detectors covering refrigerants, flammables, methane, and hydrogen. The company collaborates with OEM design centers to develop custom solutions and maintains a warehouse in Milan for rapid supply.
