H2Berlin e.V. is a registered association in Berlin that promotes the development of a sustainable hydrogen economy in Berlin and the wider metropolitan region. It works with utilities, municipal companies, industry, research institutions and public bodies to identify and advance hydrogen projects that can replace fossil energy solutions, including green hydrogen production, hydrogen hubs, hydrogen mobility and hydrogen use for heating and power generation. Its stated goals include reducing CO2 emissions in Berlin by 95% compared with 1990 by 2050.
