About
Founded in 2019, H2Haul is a renewable energy company specializing in Hydrogen.
H2Haul is an EU-funded collaborative project co-financed by the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (Clean Hydrogen Partnership). Launched in 2019, the project aims to deploy 16 zero-emission fuel cell trucks across four European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, and Switzerland) and establish high-capacity hydrogen refuelling stations with low-carbon hydrogen supplies. Key objectives include demonstrating vehicle and infrastructure performance, validating fuel cell truck reliability under normal commercial operations, achieving over one million kilometres of operational driving, and developing business cases for large-scale deployment. Partners include major logistics providers (Colruyt Group, DHL Freight, BMW), truck manufacturers (IVECO), energy companies (Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, H2Energy), and infrastructure operators. The project runs for seven years from inception.
