Founded in 2018, Habio is a co-op headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece with approximately 10-50 employees specializing in Biogas.

Founded in 2018, Habio is the Hellenic Association of Biogas Producers, a cooperative organization dedicated to promoting biogas production and renewable gases in Greece. The association works to advance the biogas sector as a sustainable solution for waste management and energy transition, transforming waste into renewable energy and agricultural fertilizer. With 63 active members operating biogas facilities ranging from 150 to 5,250 kWe, the organization collectively manages 94.3 MWe of installed capacity. Habio engages in advocacy, representation in national and international organizations, participation in European programs, and conducts research and studies related to biogas development and Greece's energy transition.
