Founded in 2024, HEATWISE is a renewable energy company specializing in Energy Storage.

HEATWISE is a European research and innovation project funded by Horizon Europe that addresses thermal management and energy optimization challenges in buildings with significant IT loads. The project combines cutting-edge cooling technologies (hybrid liquid cooling and air immersion) with holistic control systems to recover and reuse waste heat from data centers. It develops open-source CFD models for thermal analysis, Key Performance Indicators for energy performance assessment, and a digital twin-supported energy management system. The initiative operates five pilot sites across Europe (Denmark, Switzerland, Turkey, Sweden, and Poland) demonstrating real-world applications of waste heat recovery and dynamic energy optimization tailored to different building typologies and climate conditions.
