The cooperative develops and operates renewable energy projects primarily in solar and wind power, enabling regional citizens to participate financially and benefit from the energy transition. With over 150 members, Helionat eG combines community engagement, regional value creation, and sustainable energy supply through shared ownership of solar installations, wind farms, and biogas supply partnerships. The cooperative also promotes solar potential assessment and provides green electricity and biogas products to households and businesses across Germany in partnership with Bürgerwerke eG.
