Hiaa is a co-op headquartered in Vienna, Austria specializing in Hydrogen.

H2 Import Alliance Austria (Hiaa) is an initiative of eight leading Austrian energy companies, infrastructure operators, and hydrogen offtakers, primarily from industry. The alliance aims to contribute to developing a competitive hydrogen supply in Austria and establish conditions for a functioning hydrogen market. Key objectives include enabling hydrogen imports via pipelines by 2030, identifying and implementing import corridors, coordinating the hydrogen industry ramp-up, and supporting activities across the value chain. The initiative emphasizes the importance of regulatory frameworks, state support mechanisms, and infrastructure development to secure Austria's industrial base and meet projected green hydrogen demand of 1.4 million tonnes annually by 2040.
