HyDeal España

Founded in 2020, HyDeal España is a renewable energy company specializing in Hydrogen, Solar.

HyDeal España is the first industrial implementation of the HyDeal Ambition platform, an independent hydrogen producer in Spain. The project integrates dedicated renewable photovoltaic energy, green hydrogen production via electrolysis, and distribution via the Spanish hydrogen backbone. Planned to begin operations in 2028, it will supply 3 million tonnes of green hydrogen over 20 years at prices competitive with fossil fuels. The facility will feature 4.8 GW of solar power capacity and 3.3 GW of electrolyzer capacity, making it the world's largest green hydrogen project according to IRENA's January 2022 ranking. HyDeal España enables the production of green steel, green fertilizers, green methanol, and other zero-carbon industrial and energy products, supporting applications in fuel cell trucks and trains, baseload power generation, and conversion of existing industrial processes from fossil fuels to hydrogen.
