Founded in 2005, Hydromotionteam is a ngo headquartered in Delft, Netherlands with approximately 10-50 employees specializing in Hydrogen.

The TU Delft Hydro Motion Team is a 26-member student organization founded in 2005 with a mission to drive the maritime industry toward sustainability. They began with solar-powered boats, winning the World Championship in 2019. In 2020, they transitioned to compressed hydrogen, developing the world's first foiling hydrogen-powered boat and becoming World Champions at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge in 2023. In 2024, they made history as the first hydrogen-powered boat to cross the North Sea. Currently, they are designing and building a liquid hydrogen-powered boat for the Monaco Sea Lab 2026, demonstrating hydrogen's viability as a scalable maritime fuel solution.
