Hydroyal

Founded in 2022, Hydroyal is a small enterprise headquartered in Kista, Sweden with approximately 1-10 employees specializing in Hydrogen.

Hydroyal is a pioneer in large-scale manufacturing of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for alkaline and anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolyzers. The company produces PGM-free catalysts and catalyst-coated membranes using proprietary electrode engineering techniques, enabling high-purity hydrogen production at scale. MEAs range from 5-200 cm² with hydrogen production capacity of 10-400 W. Hydroyal's eco-friendly materials and innovative manufacturing process support the transition to green hydrogen for transportation, industry, and energy storage applications.
