About

HYSTORE Project is a government specializing in Energy Storage.

HYSTORE is a European consortium project funded by the EU Horizon Europe Programme (Grant Agreement N. 101096789) comprising 18 entities from 8 EU countries. The project focuses on developing and validating four innovative thermal energy storage concepts combining advanced technology components: ALL-IN-ONE Phase Change Material solutions, LOW-TEMP PCM heating and cooling solutions, PCM heating solutions, and Thermochemical Material heating and cooling solutions. These systems are designed to provide electricity load shifting, peak shaving, and hybrid energy and power services through a smart aggregator and open-source multi-service platform. HYSTORE demonstrates applications across four distinct use cases with different building types and climates, including multi-family residential buildings, heterogeneous complexes with high renewable energy share, hospital facilities, and district heating/cooling connected systems. The project employs co-creation methodologies, including World Café stakeholder engagement sessions, to ensure social acceptance and address end-user needs throughout technology development.
