About

Hyvolucia-Renewstable is a renewable energy company specializing in Solar, Wind, Hydrogen.

HYVOLUCIA is a large-scale renewable energy and green hydrogen infrastructure project developed by HDF Energy in Saint Lucia through its Caribbean office in Barbados. The project integrates a 52 MWp solar power plant, wind turbines, a 13 MW / 26 MWh battery energy storage system, a 15 MW water electrolyzer, and a 3 MW fuel cell system to deliver non-intermittent renewable electricity. The system uses advanced energy management to store excess renewable energy as hydrogen and electricity in batteries, then dispatches stored hydrogen-based power during low solar and wind periods. The project is designed to deliver approximately 58,089 MWh of firm electricity annually, representing about 15.5% of Saint Lucia's average annual electricity production. It aims to improve grid stability, reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels, and support Saint Lucia's national energy transition targets.
