Founded in 2024, InnoBMS is a private headquartered in Netherlands specializing in Energy Storage.

InnoBMS is a 42-month EU-funded research and development project (Horizon Europe) launched January 2024, led by a consortium of 10 European partners. The project focuses on creating an innovative battery management system that integrates dynamic situational awareness, enabling batteries to operate optimally across diverse driving conditions. Unlike conventional static BMS algorithms, InnoBMS employs cloud-informed strategies and on-board embedded software to dynamically adjust charging and discharging strategies, maintain accurate state-of-charge estimations, and maximize battery efficiency while preserving battery life. The system combines advanced hardware (scalable, wireless, self-testing) with intelligent software incorporating reliable secure connections and full diagnostic capabilities. Technical development spans three levels: research (advanced cloud-based modelling), integration (embedded BMS software and hardware assembly), and demonstration (virtual and real vehicle testing).
