Founded in 2006, Kloosterman Biogas is a private headquartered in Nieuweroord, Netherlands specializing in Biogas, Solar.

Landbouw- en Biogasbedrijf Kloosterman B.V. is a family farm established in 1914, now in its fourth generation. Since 2006, the company has operated an anaerobic digestion facility processing maize and plant-based residues for biogas production. The biogas is converted to green gas and supplied to the grid, serving over 3,000 households with 8 million m³ annually. The facility is NTA8080 certified, ensuring complete traceability of biomass from source to end product. In 2017-2018, the company installed solar panels on all available roofs (480 kWh annual production) and developed a 12 MW solar park at Klazienaveen (11+ million kWh annually), making the biogas installation fully energy-neutral. Approximately 30% of the maize processed is self-cultivated.
