Launch Alaska is a nonprofit organization founded in 2016 that accelerates the deployment of innovative technologies in energy, transportation, and industrial sectors. The organization runs an eight-month Tech Deployment Track program designed to help mid- to late-stage startups identify market fit, forge partnerships, and deploy solutions across Alaska. Focus areas include clean energy generation (solar, wind, hydro, nuclear, thermal, ocean, waste-to-energy), long-duration energy storage, electric transportation and EV charging infrastructure, electrified aviation, low-carbon fuels and biofuels, microgrids and demand-side management, robotics and automation, and permafrost management. Launch Alaska works to connect technology developers with Alaska industry experts, community leaders, and infrastructure owners to facilitate project deployment and decarbonization. The organization has set a goal to support $1 billion in energy, transportation, and industrial tech project deployments across Alaska by 2030.
