Founded in 2020, Mana Engineering is a private headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands with approximately 1-10 employees specializing in Hydrogen.

Mana Engineering (formerly Solid Hydrogen B.V.) was founded in 2020 by maritime sector investors Karin Govaert, Henk Jonker, and Joep Beukers to address shipping emissions. In 2023, under new management by Huub Bergstein and Dennis Lensing, the company rebranded to Mana Engineering. The company has grown from two employees to a team of six engineers. Mana Engineering specializes in developing modular hydrogen-powered energy solutions, particularly for 'Hotel Load' systems on vessels. Their technology enables shipowners to generate overcompliance credits under FuelEU regulations, allowing credits to be pooled across fleets or sold to other operators. The company participated in the SH2IPDRIVE and SH2PDRIVE projects (33 million euros in funding with 30 partners) and contributed to the Dutch Maritime Master Plan Growth Fund (210+ million euros government funding for zero-emission ships). Mana Engineering develops hydrogen-powered containers for maritime and offshore applications as alternatives to diesel generators.
