MaREI is a renewable energy company headquartered in Ringaskiddy, Ireland with approximately 201-500 employees specializing in Wave, Tidal, Wind.
MaREI is the Research Ireland Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine, coordinated by the Environmental Research Institute at University College Cork. It brings together over 200 researchers across 13 partner institutes and around 75 industry partners. Its research covers the energy transition, climate action and the blue economy, including design and testing of wave, tidal and offshore wind energy devices and bioenergy. It also provides policy advice, industry research collaboration, and PhD and postdoctoral training.
