MARINERG-i is a renewable energy company headquartered in Ringaskiddy, Ireland specializing in Wind, Wave, Tidal.
MARINERG-i is a European research infrastructure initiative for offshore renewable energy (ORE). It brings together distributed test facilities across Europe, including wave and towing tanks, ocean basins, open-sea test sites and cable and material testing rigs, to provide testing services to researchers and industry. The project is developing a scientific and business plan for an integrated European research infrastructure, is on the ESFRI 2021 Roadmap, and is coordinated by University College Cork's MaREI Centre. Its preparatory phase is funded through Horizon Europe.
