MIEMA is an energy agency established in 2007 and based in Valletta, Malta. It is part of the European network of IEE Energy Agencies. The agency implements European sustainable energy projects, carries out energy audits, advises public bodies on clean energy, supports renewable energy communities, and runs training and pilot initiatives such as micro-grids and PV installations in low-income households. Its management has recently expanded its scope to environmental and climate change issues.
