Founded in 2018, Monts Energies is a co-op headquartered in Saint Symphorien sur Coise, France with approximately 10-50 employees specializing in Solar.

Monts Énergies is a cooperative society (SAS d'intérêt collectif) established in February 2018 to engage local residents in energy management and transition initiatives across the Monts du Lyonnais territory. The organization develops, installs, and operates photovoltaic systems for households, businesses, and local authorities. By autumn 2019, the cooperative had 17 operational solar installations of 9 kWc and 7 systems ranging from 36-100 kWc under development, supplying approximately 200 households. The organization operates with over 150 member shareholders and approximately 30 active volunteers. Services include feasibility studies for installations under 9 kWc in partnership with SolarCoop and technical expertise for renewable energy and energy transition projects.
