About
Founded in 2020, Musica Project is a renewable energy company headquartered in Mytilene, Greece specializing in Wind, Solar, Wave.
Musica Project is a Horizon 2020-funded research initiative focused on advancing multi-use offshore platforms (MUP) for small island autonomy. The project combines three renewable energy technologies (wind, solar, and wave), energy storage systems, desalinated water production, and aquaculture support services into a single integrated platform. Built on earlier FP7-funded research by the University of the Aegean and EcoWindWater, Musica aims to advance the MUP concept from Technology Readiness Level 5 to TRL7 through a demonstration pilot on Oinousses Island in Greece. The solution targets decarbonization and economic viability for island communities while addressing environmental, regulatory, and legal barriers to marine multi-use development.
