Naco Technologies is a Latvian nano-coating specialist focused on the hydrogen industry. It develops PVD magnetron sputtering nano-coatings for water electrolyzers, PEM and solid oxide fuel cells, and related components such as bipolar plates, gas diffusion layers and catalyst layers. Its coatings are designed to reduce precious metal (PGM) loading, improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, and prevent hydrogen embrittlement. The company was founded in 2020 by material scientists and entrepreneurs, building on earlier nano-coating R&D dating back to 2010, and is aimed at mass production of coated components.
