Newton Energy Solutions is a Dutch renewable energy company founded in 2024 by Pavol, Martin, and Laurens to revolutionize energy storage. The company develops NEStore, a patented thermal battery that stores solar-generated electricity as heat in a vacuum-insulated tank. The system stores 20-30 kWh of thermal energy, providing 600-900 liters of hot water and supporting household heating needs. NEStore minimizes energy losses to 1% per day through advanced vacuum insulation (3cm thick) compared to conventional boilers which lose 20-40% daily. The system integrates with heat pumps, can be scaled in cascade, and charges based on dynamic energy tariffs and solar generation. In 2024, the company was recognized as a KvK Innovation Top 100 winner in the Energy Transition category. The technology is developed in collaboration with TNO and manufactured in the EU with circular production principles.
